 How you can help your child:

  • To help your child with reading, discuss with your child their book.
  • Please help them to decide which activity to choose following their reading at home.
  • Discuss with children current issues in the newspaper and make them available for children to explore.
  • Please sign your child’s reading record at least once a week and practise times tables up to 12 times tables, including their use for division.
  • Practise telling the time and using money, working out change etc.
