The School Day

Most of our children walk from nearby housing but some travel to school by car. We encourage children cycle or scoot to school and have plenty of cycle and scooter storage. We also have a walking bus two days per week.

The children wear school uniform and they use their Ryde school bag to carry their reading book in. Children that do not have school dinners also bring a lunch box to school.

The classroom doors are opened every morning at 8.40 a.m. so that the children have time to settle and for the registers to be marked so that we can make a prompt start to the school day at 8.55 a.m. It is very disruptive to the whole school when children arrive late, so we ask parents to please ensure their children arrive on time.
