The Year 4 pupils thoroughly enjoyed their recent Life in Ancient Egypt Day, which provided a wonderful hands-on learning experience. The children fully embraced the day by dressing in their fabulous Egyptian costumes – many of which were impressively handmade.
The sessions were highly interactive, allowing pupils to follow a range of engaging activities based on the workshop programme. Through drama, role-play and practical tasks, the children gained a deeper understanding of life in Ancient Egypt. The day culminated in a series of lively drama performances, showcasing all that they had learned.
Each child also took home a bag of their creative work, providing a lasting reminder of a memorable and enriching experience.
