Hertfordshire County Council has admission rules for County Primary Schools.
These rules are used to describe which children should have priority when the school has more applications than places. The school admits up to its admission limit, which is 30 pupils in any age group.
The number is laid down by the DfE. Hertfordshire County Council undertakes the admission process for the school. We like to encourage prospective parents to visit our school and would be pleased to show you around and share all we are proud of. You will have the opportunity to talk to the Head and ask any questions you may have. You can make an appointment by contacting the school office either by phoning, emailing or calling in. We make a number of dates available for you to choose from.

Nursery Admissions
Our nursery is a warm and welcoming place to be. Our experienced staff would be pleased to meet you and show you around.
In our Nursery 2022-2023, all children are welcome to start in September but children whose birthday falls between 1st March and 31st August may begin Nursery in January if parents wish this. The Ryde offers 15 hours of free childcare, morning sessions only.
From September 2019 we accept children into our nursery from the day of their 3rd birthday.
We offer wrap-around care for all our pupils from 7:55a.m. to 1:00p.m. every school day, when the school is operating normally.
You may collect an application from the school office when you visit, or you can download the application form below.
