Year 3 attendance at District Sports

“It was a challenge for me doing the target throw because I had to score points by throwing beanbags into hoops.  One of the hoops represented one point, the other represented two points and the last one represented three points. In total I scored twelve points.” by Anaira

“At District Sports there was a big track. I was doing sprinting and then one of the year fours dropped out of the relay so I came in to do relay as well. We got in to the final and our school came in seventh place.” by Isla

“I took part in sprinting and throwing. I got in to the final sprinting with the year sixes. I was fast and came third in the finals. In the first race I came first. In the finals I had a slow start. I did 60 metres of sprinting.” by Rylee

“I was doing the tennis ball throwing. It was a little bit like a challenge to me. When I started it was hard but when I continued it went well for me.”  Sophia

“This is the first time I have taken part in District Sports. I felt scared but then I made two friends and I was not scared anymore. I did target throwing. The further the beanbag got the more points you scored. I got seven points then six points.” by Loki
