Year Three stepped back into the past to Pre-history at Celtic Harmony Camp. They spent the day making pre-history art. First they looked at artefacts from pre-history and placed them on a timeline. They saw flint, bronze and iron tools and weapons, finding out how people in the past made them.
They used copper and tin (bronze) to make a torc bracelet in the chieftains roundhouse.
Next they looked at cauldrons used for cooking and made their own from clay using the same technique as the Beaker People.
Finally they went into a Stone Age cave and looked at the cave art. Then they created their own version using natural materials. Class Three had a brilliant day!
