This term in maths, we have been learning to tell the time. We began by thinking about what the hands on a clock mean and working out how many seconds in a minute, how many minutes in an hour and how many hours in a day. We realised that we can split the clock into quarters to help us. We then looked at how to read o’clock, quarter past, half past and quarter to times. I have been so impressed with how keen the children are to learn more and take on a challenge. Well done Year 2!
