During the latest House Group Activity, the children were invited to write one word of a place where they felt safe. A lot of the children wrote school, but there were plenty of other places that they felt safe. Some other examples were:
Friends, parkrun, library, family, home.
All the words were written on the corresponding house group colour. These were then hung from hoops to make 5 chandeliers. Below each chandelier the children had decorated the word RYDE with the fifth one have the school logo. The corresponding house group birds were also coloured and attached the the chandelier.
