Ever since the Air Ambulance landed on our school field, the School Council have been wanting to organise a fun day to raise much needed funds to support them. After researching the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance, the School Council discovered that the Air Ambulance gets no government funding and monthly operational costs are £750 000 – that is a lot!
The School Council organised a Red and Yellow day. All children and teachers were invited to wear something red or yellow for the day in return for a coin donation. We had a super day and raised £204.30 – amazing!
