The Ryde School Choir was honoured to have performed at the Gardeners’ Club’s Christmas Party, and what a spectacular treat they were! The festivities began with a joyous and spirited rendition of Christmas Is Coming, setting the tone for an evening brimming with festive cheer.
This was followed by Christmas Gold, a performance that showcased beautifully blended harmonies, gracefully sung by our talented Year 6 pupils. The audience was captivated by the rich, melodic tones and the choir’s heartfelt delivery.
Next, the choir brought boundless energy to their performance of It’s Christmas, a lively song that sparkled with enthusiastic actions and contagious rhythm, leaving the crowd clapping along with glee.
The grand finale was a unique and playful rendition of the traditional Twelve Days of Christmas, with lyrics specially crafted by our Key Stage 2 pupils. The audience was thrilled to be included, enthusiastically joining in with the singing, creating a heart-warming and unforgettable communal experience.
The children were thrilled and overjoyed to take part in such a wonderful celebration. They sang their hearts out, spreading festive joy and making lasting memories. As a token of appreciation, they were gifted a small surprise, which added to their delight.
We are incredibly proud of our choir for their musical excellence and vibrant spirit, which brought so much joy to everyone present. It was truly an occasion to cherish!
