The pupils and staff held their 2 min silence surrounding their very own poppy garden. Every child and staff member made a poppy, from recyclable materials, and then planted them to make a very special place to gather for the silence.
At the end of the day, children were keen to show the poppies to their adults and explain the significance of the symbolical red flower.
Year 6 pupils at the school, also sold Poppies and other Poppy related items, to the rest of the school, to support the Royal British Legion.
