On Thursday 12th October 2023, a team of boys from Years 5 and 6 went to DeHavilland School to take part in the annual tournament.
Fortunately the previously poor weather took a break and we managed to have a whole afternoon rain-free. Ten school teams took part, divided into two smaller leagues, meaning that we had to play DeHavilland, Birchwood and Sir Philip Howard Schools. Enough points would have taken us through to semi finals but unfortunately that did not happen.
After settling in on their first match, the boys really worked as a team for the next matches and tried their best, particularly the boys asked to play in positions they were not used to!
They all enjoyed themselves and I would like to give a special thank you to all the parents who turned out in support. Well done boys.
